Production Designer at City Cast. About the Role. City Cast is seeking a Production Designer to help scale our visual brand across a growing network of local media outlets. This role focuses on translating City Cast’s brand and existing creative direction into a mix of traditional design deliverables, templates and tools, and occasionally UX design. The ideal candidate is a strong multi-platform designer with an impeccable eye and an appreciation for brand systems. The Production Designer will need the judgment and flexibility to balance speed and quality in a fast moving, collaborative environment.. Deadline to apply:. March 23, 2026. What You'll Do. Multi-Platform Design Execution. Design, adapt, update, and modify brand assets across social, video, web, email, events, swag and marketing campaigns. Adapt creative concepts across formats and cities with consistency and polish. Work closely with our Senior Graphic Designer to adapt the existing visual brand and style . Occasionally support basic social and video ad creative, including layouts optimized for motion and performance. Templates, Toolkits & Systems. Create and effectively manage a workflow for handling design requests across multiple stakeholders and competing priorities . Build and maintain reusable templates and toolkits. Organize and maintain City Cast’s design system, including asset management, documentation, and access. Enable more self-serve design for local teams through clear, well-structured templates . Brand Stewardship & Collaboration. Apply and uphold City Cast’s visual brand consistently across all platforms and markets. Serve as a trusted partner to Editorial, Marketing, Revenue, and city teams. Help assess design requests, clarify scope, and prioritize work based on impact and effort. Contribute to website design and visual updates across City Cast’s network. Partner with internal teams and external developers to improve usability, clarity, and visual cohesion across web properties. 3+ years experience designing and producing assets across a variety of platforms and formats. Experience collaborating with non-design partners and navigating competing priorities. Strong grasp of graphic design and visual communication principles, brand systems, typography, templates, and scalable design workflows. Comfort working quickly without sacrificing consistency. Clear taste and confidence in applying and upholding brand standards across multiple sub-brands. Familiarity with tools like Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and template-based workflows. A collaborative spirit, positive attitude, diplomacy– and the ability to push back thoughtfully when demand outpaces capacity. Company Location: United States.
