Location: Remote (India), NCR, Pune, Mumbai, Kolkata. JobType: full-time. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced ETL Developer with strong expertise in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) to join our team on a contractual basis. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of hands-on experience in ODI, ELT/ETL processes, data modeling, and advanced SQL. Familiarity with Python scripting for API-based data ingestion is a key advantage.. This is a night shift role (India time), requiring strong analytical skills, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.. Key Responsibilities:. Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes and stored procedures using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).. Develop and document data warehouse schemas including fact and dimension tables based on business requirements.. Write and execute SQL scripts for table creation; collaborate with DBAs for schema deployment.. Analyze various data sources to identify relationships and align them with Business Requirement Documents (BRD).. Design and implement Extract, Load, Transform (ELT) processes to move data from source systems into staging and target environments.. Perform data validation and profiling using SQL and analytical tools to ensure data quality and completeness.. Apply data governance best practices, including query optimization, metadata management, and data quality monitoring.. Demonstrate strong data modeling skills to build scalable and efficient data architectures.. Use Python to automate API-based data ingestion, improving integration workflows and enabling near real-time data processing.. Investigate and resolve data quality issues through in-depth analysis and root cause identification.. Collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders through strong written and verbal skills.. Show initiative and research capabilities to solve complex data problems quickly and efficiently.. Required Skills & Qualifications:. 8+ years of overall experience in ETL/Data Warehousing roles.. Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).. Strong proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and ETL/ELT design.. Experience with data warehouse architecture and schema design.. Practical knowledge of Python scripting for API integration and automation.. Solid understanding of data governance, data quality frameworks, and performance tuning.. Ability to analyze complex data sets and derive insights.. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.. Nice to Have:. Exposure to cloud platforms (Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure, etc.). Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
