We are seeking an experienced and strategic E-Commerce Manager with expertise in Shopify and front-end development to join our Growth team as a contractor. This role will focus on overseeing and optimizing our online store, ensuring a seamless user experience, driving sales through strategic e-commerce initiatives, and supporting our wholesale and international strategy. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of e-commerce platforms, front-end development, CRO strategies, and SEO best practices to ensure our store not only looks great but converts visitors into loyal Owlet customers.. This is a contract position, paid on an hourly basis, with an estimate of 20-30 hours per week.. Primary Responsibilities:. . E-Commerce Strategy & Management: Oversee the end-to-end e-commerce experience, from site design and development to ongoing product updates, user experience improvements, and sales strategies.. . Shopify Store Management: Manage all aspects of the Shopify platform, including product listing, store design, payment gateways, and integrations.. . Front-End Development: Implement front-end development changes (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to improve the look and functionality of the site, ensuring responsiveness across devices.. . Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Utilize data-driven strategies to identify opportunities and implement changes aimed at improving conversion rates, enhancing the customer journey, and maximizing revenue.. . UI/UX Optimization: Collaborate with the design team to create a visually appealing and user-friendly experience that enhances conversion rates.. . Product & Inventory Management: Ensure accurate product descriptions, pricing, images, and inventory updates, maintaining a smooth shopping experience for customers.. . SEO Strategy: Audit and implement SEO best practices, optimize product pages for organic search, and integrate SEO strategies into content and campaigns to drive traffic and improve visibility using Google Search Console and Ahrefs.. . Performance Analysis: Use analytics tools (Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, etc.) to track performance metrics, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve sales and customer experience. Apply findings to forecast.. . . 5+ years of experience managing e-commerce platforms, particularly Shopify. Preferred Shopify skills include theme customization, apps integration, product management, and Shopify Plus.. . Proficient in front-end development technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and experience with Shopify Liquid templates. Knowledge of web design principles and responsive design.. . Experience with A/B testing, user behavior analysis, and implementing CRO strategies to improve site performance and conversion rates.. . Experience using analytics tools to measure site performance, track KPIs, and report on results to stakeholders.. .
