Electrical Substation CAD Designer at Knowhirematch. We are Recruiting on Purpose an experienced and detail-oriented Electrical Substation CAD Designer to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated professional with strong AutoCAD Electrical skills, capable of working independently or as part of a collaborative engineering team. This full-time position supports the drafting and design of high-voltage substations ranging from 46 kV to 500 kV. Design and draft high-voltage electrical substations using AutoCAD Electrical. . . Work closely with engineers to produce accurate protection and control drawings. . . Manage project deadlines with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong time management skills. . . Communicate effectively with internal teams and clients to ensure high-quality deliverables. . . Provide design input and technical support to ensure projects meet specifications and client requirements. . . Maintain organized project documentation and file management systems. . . Occasionally work extended hours to meet project deadlines. . . Required Qualifications:. . Minimum 5 years of experience using AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical. . . Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365. . . Strong written and verbal communication skills. . . Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively. . . Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. . . Strong organizational and planning skills. . . Preferred Qualifications:. . Associate degree or two-year technical degree from an accredited institution. . . Experience with protection and control CAD design for electrical substations. . .
