Contract Technical Recruiter at YASSI. The Role. We’re a fast-growing technology company based in Santa Rosa, CA with a growing engineering team based in Chicago, Il. We are looking for a contract recruiter for 6 to 9 months, with a chance to extend to help buildout our Engineering department. You’ll own technical hiring end-to-end, working closely with the Engineering Leadership and team to bring in top-tier talent.. This is not a “post and pray” role. We’re looking for someone who loves sourcing, building pipelines from scratch, and closing hard-to-find technical candidates.. What You’ll Do. Run full-cycle recruiting for engineering, data, and product roles. Partner directly with hiring managers to shape roles and hiring strategy. Proactively source talent (LinkedIn, GitHub, referrals, creative outreach). Screen candidates and guide them through a smooth, human interview process. Keep hiring moving fast without sacrificing quality or candidate experience. Track pipeline and hiring metrics in our ATS (Workable). Share real-time market insights with the team. Create and maintain a recruiting dashboard . What We’re Looking For. 3+ years of technical recruiting experience (startup or high-growth environment preferred). Strong sourcing skills and comfort reaching out to passive candidates. Solid understanding of technical roles and skill sets. Ability to work independently and thrive in ambiguity. Clear communicator who can influence and partner with busy stakeholders. Bonus Points. Startup or early-stage experience. Contract or agency background.
