As a key technical expert, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance software solutions that ensure reliability, scalability, and efficiency in smart roads systems.  . Responsibilities:. Design, develop, and maintain integrations between various systems, ensuring seamless data exchange and reliability.. Build and optimize Java-based backend solutions with a focus on scalability, security, and maintainability.. Migrate existing Python services to a Java-based architecture, ensuring clean, efficient, and reliable code throughout the transition.. Design and improve queries and database structures using MSSQL, ensuring performance and scalability.. Build, deploy, and maintain Java applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).. Work closely with cross-functional teams, document integration processes, and ensure best practices are followed.. Apply best practices when handling specialized data and systems.. Requirements:. Minimum 5+ years of experience in backend development using Java (Spring Boot or similar frameworks).. Proven experience integrating various systems using REST APIs, message brokers, or other integration technologies.. Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, including query optimization and database design best practices.. Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).. Ability to troubleshoot and optimize integrations and backend services effectively.. Strong communication skills and experience working in agile teams.. Proficiency in written and spoken English..
