As part of a mission-driven engineering team, you’ll design and implement robust testing strategies across routing, planning, controls, and simulation layers. You’ll work hands-on with software developers to build high-quality, testable code and develop tools that improve debugging and analysis. Accountabilities:. . Design and implement testing strategies and evaluation frameworks for autonomy software. . Develop observability tools to improve debugging, system introspection, and software performance. . Build and maintain simulation-based, system integration, and on-vehicle test suites. . Lead root cause analysis and defect triage to identify and resolve issues early in the lifecycle. . Increase test coverage and validate autonomy behavior under various scenarios and edge cases. . Collaborate with developers, infrastructure engineers, and system designers to enhance reliability. . Continuously improve automation pipelines, reporting tools, and test infrastructure. . . Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related technical field. . 3+ years of hands-on experience in software development and testing of complex systems. . Strong C++ skills with experience writing high-quality, testable code. . Proficiency in Python and data analysis tools (e.g., pandas, pyspark, streamlit). . Experience designing automated test plans and frameworks for algorithmic or control systems. . Familiarity with large-scale or cloud-based testing environments, including simulation and HIL. . Understanding of autonomous systems (e.g., planning, motion control, state estimation). . Proven ability to lead quality improvements and root cause analysis throughout the software lifecycle. .
