Compensation: $60,000 - $80,000 per year plus commissions.. Key Responsibilities. . Evaluate personal injury claims and determine case value based on medical records, liability, and damages.. . Communicate with insurance adjusters to negotiate settlement offers on behalf of clients.. . Draft and submit settlement demand packages and respond to counteroffers.. . Maintain accurate and timely records of all case activity in the case management system.. . Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and case managers to gather case information.. . Provide updates to clients on the status of negotiations and advise them on settlement options.. . Ensure compliance with state laws, legal procedures, and firm policies throughout the negotiation process.. . Qualifications. . Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school . . Active license to practice law in the State of Texas; in good standing with the Texas State Bar . . Minimum of 2 years of experience in personal injury negotiations, claims handling, or insurance adjusting (law firm experience preferred) . . In-depth knowledge of personal injury law, settlement procedures, and medical terminology . .
