We're seeking a Contract Clinical Specialist to help us develop and refine progress note templates specifically for psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and other mental health prescribers. This flexible contracting position requires 5-10 hours per week.. What You'll Do. . Prescriber-Specific Documentation Development: Create and customize progress note templates that address the distinct needs of prescribers, including medication management, psychiatric evaluations, and follow-up appointments. . Clinical Standards Compliance: Ensure all documentation templates meet regulatory requirements for prescriber documentation, including elements required for MDM coding and insurance reimbursement. . Template Optimization: Collaborate with prescribers to refine note templates based on their workflow, incorporating essential elements like medication efficacy, side effects monitoring, mental status examinations, and treatment plan adjustments. . AI Tool Integration: Work with our AI tools to develop intelligent prompts that capture prescriber-specific information efficiently while maintaining clinical accuracy. . Quality Assurance: Review and validate documentation to ensure it meets both clinical best practices and regulatory standards for psychiatric and medication management services. . . Psychiatrist (MD/DO), Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), RN with behavioral health background, or PA-C with ≥3 years recent outpatient psychiatry / med-management experience (or equivalent QA/documentation leadership). . Deep understanding of prescriber documentation requirements. . Familiarity with billing and coding requirements specific to psychiatric services (CPT/MDM coding). . At least a basic understanding of application of AI for documentation, such as prompt engineering. . Excellent attention to detail and quality standards. . Collaborative mindset for working with prescribers and technical teams. .
