As a Controls Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical control systems and automated equipment in a warehouse environment. This position requires expertise in both greenfield projects (new installations) and brownfield projects (upgrades to existing systems).. Key Responsibilities:. · Install, program, and integrate automated controls systems. · Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on automated warehouse equipment such as conveyors, sorters, and robotic systems. · Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical work instructions. · Assist with updating installation work instruction documentation as required. · Work collaboratively with other project personnel and operations teams. · Support commissioning new equipment and systems. Qualifications:. · Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, or related technical field. · 2+ years of experience working with industrial automation and control systems. · Proficiency with PLC programming (Allen Bradley, Siemens, or similar). · Experience with HMI configuration and SCADA systems. · Knowledge of industrial networking and communication protocols. · Understanding of electrical safety standards and procedures. · Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics. · Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. · Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. · Effective communicator with proven teamwork abilities. · Willingness to travel 80-100%. · Experience with warehouse automation systems (conveyors, sorters, AS/RS, AMRs). · Knowledge of robot programming and integration. · Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. · Capable of working at heights, in confined spaces, and in various environmental conditions. · May require work during off-hours, weekends, or holidays.
