Senior QA Engineer at AHOY. About Us: Ahoy Tech is a forward-thinking technology company dedicated to delivering innovative solutions that drive excellence in various industries. We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the quality and reliability of our products. . Responsibilities: . Design, develop, execute and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases based on strong understanding of the products . Perform functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing. . Identify, report, and track software defects and bugs. . Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure high-quality deliverables. . Continuously improve the QA process and contribute to the overall product development lifecycle. . Requirements: . Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering, or information technology . 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance in the Tech industry . Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. . Proficient in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases. . Experience in Agile/Scrum development processes. . Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. . Strong communication and collaboration skills. . Preferred Qualifications: . Experience with performance and/or security testing using tools like JMeter . Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. . Familiarity with automation testing (using Selenium or Cypress) is a plus . Knowledge of languages such as Javascript, to extend tests . Company Location: Egypt.
