The Lead DevOps Engineer will play a pivotal role in enabling cloud and on-premises environments for Joint and Air Force training, ensuring platform reliability, automation, and cybersecurity compliance. The position requires collaboration across development, security, and operations teams to drive modernization, operational readiness, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate has extensive hands-on experience with DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud platforms, combined with a strong understanding of DoD cybersecurity frameworks.. . Accountabilities. As Lead DevOps Engineer, you will:. . Architect, implement, and configure a secure, scalable M&S DevSecOps platform supporting cloud and on-premises deployments.. . Design and maintain infrastructure solutions using automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible.. . Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines integrated with security tools (e.g., GitLab, SonarQube, Fortify) to ensure efficient software delivery.. . Manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring high availability, orchestration, and scalability.. . Ensure platform compliance with DoD cybersecurity standards, RMF, and NIST 800-53 frameworks.. .
