Senior Accountant. to partner with a fast-paced financial technology startup supporting global payroll and financial operations. This role is central to managing core accounting processes, ensuring accurate reporting, and strengthening financial workflows during a critical stage of growth.. In this role, you’ll handle bookkeeping, reconciliations, month-end close, and GAAP-compliant reporting while identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency. Accountability. As a Senior Accountant, your success will be defined by your ability to deliver accurate, timely financial reporting, manage independent month-end close processes, and strengthen operational efficiency. You’ll pair technical expertise in accounting with proactive communication and a continuous improvement mindset.. Here’s how you’ll make an impact:. Core Accounting & Reporting. . Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and financial operations across multiple entities (~$200k monthly transaction volume).. . Execute month-end close with timely, accurate reporting.. . Own reconciliations, GAAP-compliant reporting, and preparation of financial statements.. . Maintain records across QuickBooks, internal ledgers, and Google Sheets/Excel.. . . Process Improvements & Automation. . Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and reduce manual processes.. . Implement automation and best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy.. . Leadership Collaboration. . Partner directly with the CEO on finance-related tasks, reports, and strategic initiatives.. . Communicate proactively to highlight risks, trends, and opportunities in financial operations.. . Colleagues.
