Book With Mel is seeking a dedicated Sales Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key player in the company, you’ll work closely with our founder, Melanie, to ensure seamless event planning and sales support for our clients.. In this role, you’ll manage client inquiries, assist with reservations, provide tailored recommendations, and contribute to the overall success of our business. If you are proactive, detail-oriented, and have a knack for sales and customer service, we want to hear from you!. Key Responsibilities:. 1. Client Communication:. Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries through Instagram DMs and other communication platforms.. Provide accurate and up-to-date information on pricing, event details, venue availability, and recommendations for dayclubs, nightclubs, and artists.. 2. Sales Support:. . Assist with creating customized offers for clients based on their preferences, group size, and budget.. . Help negotiate deals, including pricing, minimums, and handshakes, to ensure we’re delivering the best value for our clients.. . Ensure seamless reservation finalization by double-checking details and confirming with clients before submitting to the VPCs.. . . 3. Event Coordination:. . Work with the team to organize group events, including venue selection, bookings, and coordination with VPCs (Venue Pricing Contacts).. . Assist in creating and managing event schedules to ensure everything runs smoothly.. . . 4. Team Collaboration:. . Work closely with the team to ensure accurate information is shared and client needs are met promptly.. . Collaborate with Melanie and the team to make sure all clients receive top-tier service.. . . 5. Monitoring and Reporting:. . Track client interactions, reservations, and sales in our CRM and other tools.. . Provide regular reports on client status, sales, and feedback to ensure continuous improvement.. . . 6. Continuous Improvement:. . Actively suggest improvements to streamline sales and client processes.. . Collaborate with the team to adapt to changes and improve customer experiences.. . . Qualifications:. . Proactive & Resourceful: Able to take initiative, solve problems, and anticipate client needs in a fast-paced environment.. . Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and ensure high accuracy in all aspects of the role.. . Sales Experience: Prior experience in sales, customer service, or a related field is a plus.. . Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.. . High-Pressure Performance: Comfortable handling high-stress situations while maintaining a positive attitude.. . Tech-Savvy: Familiar with communication platforms, CRM tools, and productivity software (e.g., Notion, Google Workspace).. . Event Planning or Hospitality Experience: A background in event planning, nightlife, or customer service is a huge plus.. .
