You will mentor engineers, shape security strategy, and act as a principal technical liaison, ensuring security is embedded as a foundational partner across the organization. This position emphasizes hands-on engineering, strategic thinking, and cross-functional leadership.. Accountabilities:. ·         Lead threat modeling, security design discussions, and architectural decisions with platform and infrastructure teams.. ·         Architect, build, and maintain integrations between cloud infrastructure and security tooling (CSPM, SOAR, JIT/PAM, Kubernetes IAM, etc.) at scale.. ·         Design, deploy, and optimize automation workflows to correlate alerts, enrich signals, and auto-remediate complex incidents.. ·         Collaborate cross-functionally to evaluate, uplift, and strategically integrate security tooling across cloud and commercial environments.. ·         Mentor junior and senior engineers on secure architecture, automation best practices, and tooling integrations.. ·         Serve as a hands-on technical lead during critical security incidents, tracing distributed system behavior and improving response playbooks.. ·         Stay current with emerging AI platforms and advanced security technologies, applying them to enhance security posture and efficiency.. ·         Proven experience delivering impactful security engineering or infrastructure security solutions in large-scale cloud environments.. ·         Expert-level hands-on knowledge of AWS security tooling (IAM, KMS, Config, Lambda, EKS) and familiarity with Azure and GCP equivalents.. ·         Strong programming/scripting skills in Python and/or Go, with advanced proficiency in Git, Linux, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).. ·         Expertise in AI and LLM application to accelerate security workflows and system design.. ·         Experience architecting and deploying security visibility and protection tooling (SIEM, SOAR, vulnerability management, CSPM).. ·         Deep experience securing container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes), including workload security and service mesh controls.. ·         Exceptional collaboration, communication, and mentorship skills for cross-functional leadership.. ·         Hands-on experience in incident analysis, log correlation, and distributed system tracing..
