Staff Accountant at Sur. We are seeking an experienced accountant with strong client-facing skills to manage onboarding projects, clean up and set up accounting systems, and work with multiple clients across industries.. What You’ll Do:. . Prepare accurate, accrual-basis financial statements. . . Perform detailed reconciliations for bank, credit card, merchant service, and loan accounts. . . Clean up and set up client accounting systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. . . Manage multiple onboarding projects at once, meeting deadlines and staying within budget. . . Communicate directly with clients to understand needs and deliver solutions. . . Use cloud-based accounting platforms and integrated tools to streamline processes (QuickBooks Online, Xero, A2X, Shopify, Stripe, PayPal, etc.). . . Identify and communicate scope changes early to onboarding managers. . . . 1–3 years of accounting experience (preferably in a small or mid-sized CPA firm). . . Strong knowledge of GAAP-based accounting and financial reporting. . . Experience working with multiple clients from different industries. . . C1 English fluency or equivalent.. . Experience in a client-facing role and client onboarding processes.. . QuickBooks Online certification is a plus but nor mandatory.. . E-commerce accounting experience.. . Who Thrives Here:. .
