Carry out routine maintenance, service, and repairs on fire detection systems at customer sites, ensuring they are kept in good working order and in accordance with current regulations and standards. . . Conduct routine testing and inspections, including alarm activations, visual assessments, and functional checks, ensuring systems operate effectively. . . Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation for all work performed. . . Respond promptly to emergency call-outs, carrying out necessary repairs and troubleshooting as required. . . Deliver exceptional customer service while fostering and maintaining strong client relationships. . . Identify and report faults, potential risks, or system issues to the relevant teams for timely resolution. . . Keep up-to-date with industry regulations, standards, and emerging technologies to ensure best practice. . . Comply fully with all health, safety, and company policies at all times.. . For this specific opportunity, we are looking for candidates who offer:. . Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Service Engineer or in a similar field-based engineering role . . Strong background in maintaining, servicing, and fault-finding on fire detection systems . . Sound knowledge of industry regulations and standards, including . BS 5839. . . Excellent technical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues effectively. . High attention to detail with a methodical and safety-focused approach. . Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build positive client relationships. . Self-motivated and able to work independently, managing and prioritising workload effectively. . Full UK driving licence (essential). .
