Bookkeeper at MedVA. MedVA is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced . Bookkeeper. to oversee corporate financial operations. The role involves managing tax filings, invoicing, and insurance billing, while supporting financial audits to ensure accurate revenue reporting, account management, and tax compliance.. Key Responsibilities:. . Prepare and file corporate tax documents in compliance with local and national regulations . . Generate, process, and track invoices for clients, vendors, and internal departments . . Conduct financial audits related to revenue, accounts, and tax returns to ensure accuracy and transparency . . Manage insurance billing processes, ensuring timely and accurate submissions and follow-ups . . Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audit readiness . . Coordinate with external auditors, accountants, and tax consultants as needed . . Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and legal standards. . . Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.. . Pulling out reports from Athena for Audit. . Experience with QuickBooks. . Must have schedule flexibility, including availability for weekend shifts and variable hours.. . Willing to work a changing/rotating schedule. . Minimum of 5+ years of experience in an accounting or finance role.. . Experience with managing tax filings, invoicing, and . insurance billing (US). . . Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate across departments.. . Additional Information:.
