We’re looking for a strategic and experienced Senior Manager of Revenue Cycle Management to join our team and lead the operational and strategic performance of our end-to-end revenue cycle (order to cash).. As the Senior Manager of Revenue Cycle Management, you will oversee the full order-to-cash process, managing both internal teams and external vendor partners. You’ll play a critical role in driving operational excellence, ensuring payer compliance, and delivering a seamless patient financial experience. This is a high-impact leadership role that requires strong cross-functional collaboration, strategic thinking, and a passion for continuous improvement.. The Senior Manager of Revenue Cycle Management will collaborate closely with various internal departments, as well as interact with IT to ensure seamless integration and functionality. This role also involves monitoring, building and implementing vigorous operating processes, developing and molding a high-performing end to end revenue cycle work team, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.. Lead the performance of onshore and offshore RCM teams and vendor partners, ensuring accountability, SLA adherence, and continuous improvement.. Act as the primary escalation point for billing grievances, ensuring timely and patient-focused resolutions.. Collaborate with Executive Leadership, Finance, Market Access, and Commercial teams to align RCM strategies with financial goals.. Partner with IT and system owners to support system enhancements, integrations, and automation initiatives.. Drive RCM transformation efforts, including process redesign, system optimization, and implementation of new solutions.. Monitor and report on key RCM KPIs such as clean claim rates, denial trends, AR aging, and cash collections.. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards including HIPAA, SOX, and payer billing requirements.. Support organizational readiness for scaling or transitioning RCM models (in-house, hybrid, or outsourced).. Mentor and develop direct reports, fostering a culture of accountability, learning, and high performance.. Present performance updates and strategic initiatives to senior and executive leadership.. What We Need to See. At least 10 years of progressive experience in revenue cycle management, with a strong command of the full order-to-cash process.. At least 5 years of data-driven revenue cycle leadership experience, including direct management of cross-functional and remote teams in a fast-paced healthcare environment.. At least 3+ years managing outsourced RCM vendors, including offshore partners, with a focus on performance, compliance, and service delivery.. Proven success leading operational improvement initiatives, optimizing workflows, and driving measurable results across the revenue cycle.. Deep understanding of payer requirements, denial management, cash collections, AR strategies, and healthcare regulatory compliance (e.g., CMS, HIPAA).. Strong operational knowledge of RCM functions, including front-end, mid-cycle, and back-end processes.. Skilled in monitoring and managing KPIs, identifying performance gaps, and implementing corrective action plans.. Effective communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders, lead cross-functional initiatives, and present to executive leadership.. Experienced collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Executive Leadership, Market Access, Commercial, Customer Service, Accounting, and Finance.. Experienced in vendor governance, contract oversight, and ensuring accountability through SLAs and performance metrics.. Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.. Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results under pressure.. Metric-focused and ability to deliver tangible revenue results in a fast-paced environment.. Committed to patient-centered financial practices and enhancing the overall patient experience through operational excellence.. Education:. Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, healthcare administration, or a related field (required). Ways to Stand Out. MBA or master's in healthcare administration. Proven experience managing or operating within an outsourced revenue cycle vendor model, including oversight of performance, compliance, and service delivery..
