Platform Science is a leading innovator in transportation and logistics technology, empowering enterprises with a connected vehicle platform. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Global Account Manager (GAM) to manage and service the current portfolio of global accounts. This portfolio currently generates between $10-$15 million in annual revenue, and a primary objective for this role is service, advise, and manage named accounts from this established client base.. In addition, as the market and technology changes, the GAM will be called upon to advise and educate their portfolio members on how Platform Science can assist them in the dynamic and changing connected vehicle environment. . This is a critical, high-visibility role where you will serve as the primary strategic partner for some of Platform Science’s currently existing customers. You will be responsible for deeply understanding their business objectives, ensuring their success with our solutions, and reporting their requirements and needs to Platform Science so that Platform Science can properly service and retain their business. Essential Responsibilities. The Global Account Manager will be responsible for a comprehensive range of activities aimed at fostering deep client partnerships and achieving ambitious growth targets:. Strategic Account Leadership & Planning: . Develop, implement, and iterate on comprehensive strategic account plans for each assigned global account. Conduct thorough analysis of client needs, industry trends, and the competitive landscape to proactively identify and pursue improvements in the Platform Science/Customer relationship.. Executive Relationship Management: . Cultivate and maintain strong, influential, and enduring relationships with C-suite executives and key senior decision-makers within client organizations. Act as the primary senior liaison and trusted advisor for these global accounts, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction and fostering long-term loyalty.. Commercial Management & Negotiation: . Own and drive all aspects of contract renewals, mobilizing any and all resources across the organization to achieve this, and ensuring terms that are both profitable for Platform Science and beneficial for long-term client partnerships.. Internal Collaboration & Leadership: . Effectively lead and coordinate virtual, cross-functional global teams—including product specialists, service delivery, and marketing—to ensure cohesive account strategy execution and the delivery of superior client value. Serve as a critical voice of the customer, communicating client needs and market feedback to internal product, engineering, and leadership teams to help shape Platform Science’s customer interaction, offerings, and strategy.. Forecasting, Reporting & Risk Management: . Provide accurate and timely revenue forecasts, maintain a robust sales pipeline, and deliver regular, insightful progress reports to senior leadership. Proactively monitor account health, identify potential risks and develop effective mitigation strategies to ensure account retention.. Performance Objectives & Success Metrics. Success in this pivotal role will be measured by the following key performance indicators:. Successfully manage, retain, and strengthen relationships within a named global account portfolio valued at $10-$15 million in annual revenue.. Maintain a high customer retention rate (e.g., >95% logo or revenue retention) and proactively work to minimize churn within the portfolio.. Consistently achieve high Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) / Net Promoter Scores (NPS) from assigned global accounts.. Demonstrate accurate forecasting (e.g., +/- 10% predictability on a quarterly and annual basis).. GAM shall provide bi-monthly reports focusing on their mission requirements:. Candidates must possess a strong foundation of experience and education to meet the demands of this role:. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Technology, or a related field.. A minimum of 7-10+ years of progressive experience in strategic account management, global account management, preferably within the technology or SaaS sector.. Demonstrable track record of successfully managing multi-million dollar global client portfolios (e.g., experience managing accounts of $5 million+ annually, with direct experience in the $10M+ range being highly desirable).. Extensive experience in developing and executing strategic account plans for large, complex, and globally dispersed enterprise clients, particularly within the transportation, logistics, or related industries.. Demonstrated experience in navigating and building strong, influential relationships with C-suite executives and key decision-makers in global organizations.. Preferred:. Master’s degree (MBA) or an equivalent advanced degree is advantageous.. Direct experience in the transportation, logistics, telematics, or supply chain technology sector is highly preferred..
