What would you do in this role?. The Conversion & Growth Lead is a key driver of performance improvement across our business. You’ll own the full lifecycle of conversion optimization – from identifying opportunities to executing tests to scaling what works.. This is a . growth. role that blends traditional CRO responsibilities (like A/B testing) with broader ownership of our site optimization strategy and roadmap. That means thinking beyond tests and tweaks: the better we convert our audience, the more we can grow that audience through smarter marketing, high-impact content, and new revenue strategies.. Fluency in how digital content businesses operate, what motivates users, and which tactical changes drive performance and monetization is essential.. At the end of the day, your job is to help us meet and exceed our target KPIs. Here are some examples of how you’ll go about that:. Analyze data from GA, GSC, syndication platforms and other sources to identify growth opportunities and take action. Own and evolve our A/B testing roadmap, from idea to rollout to analysis. Write conversion-focused copy (CTAs, headlines, landing pages) that aligns with our editorial voice. Identify and scale high-impact revenue drivers across the site. Identify and execute on new site functionality or improvements to existing functionality that supports target KPI growth. Improve performance outcomes of content syndicated to external partners. Expand and optimize Motley Fool Money affiliate product pitches on our flagship investing site, Fool.com. Communicate key findings to stakeholders across the team. You’ll thrive in this role if you:. Use AI tools to accelerate content production, testing, and analysis. Know what makes a landing page convert and how to test and improve it. Understand how to identify and use customer motivation to inform ideas. Have a strong eye for UX but don’t need a full design team to prototype or launch something new. What do you need to apply?. 5+ years of experience driving performance growth for a digital property. Strong grasp of funnel optimization strategies across multiple channels including paid media, SEO, email, and editorial platforms like Google Discover. Proven track record of implementing A/B tests that delivered measurable results. Hands-on experience with CRO tools such as VWO, Convert, or Optimizely. Fluency in Google Analytics and/or other web analytics platforms. Sharp writing instincts, especially for conversion copy – headlines, CTAs, and high-traffic landing pages. Familiarity with AI-assisted tools for content generation, audience research, or A/B testing workflows (e.g. ChatGPT). Bonus points for:. Solid working knowledge of credit cards – beyond just using them. You understand how rewards programs, balance transfers, intro APRs, and issuer policies actually work (and maybe you've even helped friends pick the right card)..
