The Dispute Defense Specialist assists our customers in their chargeback or dispute journey. The role is committed to putting our customers first and helping them retain their hard earned service payments from their clients.. Essential Functions and Responsibilities. Ensure processes for dispute defense are followed.. Interact with our customers via phone or email to explain how disputes work and advise on the best course for them.. Review customer documentation, advise on changes, and submit on their behalf.. Provide our customers status updates and explanations of decisions.. Always work to maintain our competitive advantage by giving our customers the best chargeback support in the industry.. Other duties as assigned. Requirements. 3 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree. 1+ years of relevant experience in the payments industry.. Superior written, oral skills and an ability to synthesize information and make clear, concise recommendations on course of action.. “Can-do” attitude that is always willing to go above and beyond their everyday tasks.. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.. Ability to prioritize projects to meet timelines efficiently, adapt to changes in priorities quickly and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.. Capable of working independently while also being team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic and flexible.
