OpenX is seeking a skilled Senior Analyst to join our Revenue Analytics & Operations team. Our team’s mission is to drive strategic decisions through proactive financial and performance analysis, leveraging data insights and collaborative tools to anticipate opportunities and streamline operations. This role will support OpenX’s commercial teams by providing valuable analytics, insights, and operational support, focusing on Demand Side Platforms. The ideal candidate will be a highly engaged and intellectually curious data analyst with two to four years of experience in an analytical role, leveraging your expertise in data analysis and programmatic advertising to deliver actionable insights and contribute to performance diagnostics and strategy across Buyers and Commercial Partners. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively collaborate and communicate across teams. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to drive improvements in complex systems.. Key Responsibilities:. Lead the design, implementation and maintenance of performance and revenue reporting tools and dashboards for Commercial teams. Help build and automate data and reporting processes for the CRO organization. Ad-hoc analysis and reporting, serving teams across the company. Monitor OpenX marketplace health to quickly identify, diagnose, and triage any issues such as unexpected changes in spend from buyers. Design and implement revenue forecasting to drive long-term planning and revenue targets. Execute deep dive quantitative analyses that translates data into actionable insights. Work collaboratively across organization on key strategic initiatives and data governance. Provide analytical and decision-making support for key company initiatives. Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Collaborate with Finance to support performance modeling and incentive plans. Key Qualifications:. 2-4 years of analytical work experience, preferably within programmatic advertising; ad agency experience a plus. BA/BS degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience. Comfort and expertise manipulating and analyzing large datasets is a requirement, and the ability to extract key insights from datasets and translate to executive level communication is critical. Experience and comfort working in SQL and/or similar tools is a requirement; previous experience with Google BigQuery and Looker is preferred but not essential. Strong quantitative skills and proficiency with MS Office or Google suite of applications, and prior experience with scripting languages (such as Python) may be beneficial. Proven ability to collaborate across functions, defining goals, and driving action and execution on goals. Curiosity to identify and ability to solve difficult problems. Ability to interface with and effectively present to multiple levels of leadership. Extremely proactive with a strong bias for action; naturally inquisitive; desire to continuously improve current business practices/processes. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on results and continuous improvement. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
