Community Manager. , you will become a key architect of how we connect with our players, shape the future of player engagement, and elevate Star Trek’s iconic fandom into the next era. This is not just a community presence role—this is a strategic leadership position that sits at the intersection of product, content, player experience, and marketing. We’re looking for someone who understands community not just as a channel, but as a growth engine, a sentiment radar, and a storytelling frontier.. What You Will Do:. Be the primary voice of Star Trek™ Fleet Command, engaging directly with our player base across Discord, social media, livestreams, and community events.. Own and evolve our community strategy, aligning with game arcs, roadmap beats, and live ops content to create integrated and impactful engagement moments.. Champion the Voice of the Player, surfacing qualitative and quantitative insights that inform product, design, live ops, and marketing decision-making.. Drive campaign execution, including in-game celebrations, patch notes, feature updates, player recognition programs, influencer integrations, and roadmap previews.. Design and scale community systems—including a robust moderation team, Player Advisory Council (PAC) programs, and operational processes—that foster consistent, inclusive, and transparent communication.. Partner with cross-functional teams, including Product, Brand, Lifecycle Marketing, and UA, to integrate community into the heartbeat of the STFC experience.. Track and report on community KPIs, including sentiment, engagement, campaign performance, and player activation metrics.. What We’re Looking For: . Comfortable operating cross-functionally, acting as a connective force between product, marketing, live ops, and the player voice.. What You’ve Done:. Architected community programs with strategic intent, building systems that scale—from Discord infrastructures to VIP programs, ambassador networks, and player councils—that fuel loyalty, retention, and growth.. Turned community signals into business intelligence, creating structured sentiment tracking, voice-of-player frameworks, and engagement reporting that influence product, roadmap, and live ops priorities.. Launched fandom-powered campaigns and initiatives, leading everything from patch preview streams and roadmap reveals to in-game stunts, milestone celebrations, and immersive social storytelling moments.. Activated and elevated creator and fan talent, integrating influencers and superfans into content plans, UGC activations, and community storytelling in a way that balances authenticity with business outcomes.. Maintained a resilient and inclusive community environment, using moderation strategies, tooling, and proactive governance to foster safe, high-trust spaces that scale with the player base.. Collaborated cross-functionally at speed, partnering with product, marketing, live ops, and franchise teams to ensure community beats are woven into the core narrative of the game experience.. 4+ years of experience in community leadership roles—ideally within games, entertainment, or fandom-driven ecosystems—where you’ve delivered measurable impact across engagement, sentiment, and player-driven growth..
