The People Team Intern will play a key supporting role in our team, specifically in the realm of benefits. We expect this person to gain hands-on experience supporting open enrollment, executing employee wellness programming, supporting compensation analysis, and HRIS administration.. đ§ Responsibilities. 75% Benefits & Compensation. Assist with the administration of employee insurance renewals, including data collection, verification, and preparation of necessary documentation. Support the People Team in planning and coordinating annual open enrollment, including creating communication materials and scheduling information sessions. Help maintain accurate and up-to-date employee benefits records in the HRIS, ensuring data integrity for insurance-related processes. Respond to basic employee inquiries about benefits and route more complex questions to the appropriate People Team members. Contribute to employee wellness initiatives by helping organize activities and support programs that promote overall health and highlight available benefits. 25% Administrative Generalist People Team Duties. Provide administrative support for various People Team projects, such as preparing data and materials for the annual compensation cycle. Support on People Team system configuration and administration when needed. đĄ Requirements. Education. Prior internship or professional experience in an office or HR setting (preferred, but not required). Skills:. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, or a strong willingness to learn. Familiarity with HRIS platforms (a plus); or openness to learning new systems. Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion. đ Intern Perks and Compensation.
