Marketing Intern at D-Wave Quantum. Location Information: Canada. About the role. D-Wave is seeking a co-op student to join our Marketing team for a full time, 4-month contract from September 2025 to December 2025. Reporting to the Director of Demand Generation and working closely with our marketing team, you will be collaborating on a variety of tasks and projects including corporate storytelling, content development including social, web, email and ad copy, press releases, market and competitive research, customer segmentation and data management.. What you'll do. Draft and edit content for multiple channels including, web, blogs, PR, social, ad copy, product launches, public affairs, etc.. Conduct research and analyze industry trends and marketing best practices to support team strategy to identify target customer segments and build prospect lists for lead generation activities. Helping to create and execute marketing campaigns to reach our target audiences of C-suite executives and developers. Track and report on marketing campaign, content, and channel performance. Collaborate with team members and serve as an active participate in team meetings. About You. Required. Have some marketing and public relations experience and/or marketing, and public relations or communications course work. Possess entry-level marketing skills – basic understanding of marketing channels including social media, email marketing, web, advertising, public relations, etc.. Knowledge of CRM and Marketing automation tools such as Salesforce and Marketo is a plus. Critical, analytical, and creative thinking skills. Strong writing and communications skills for both technical and business audiences. Strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment. Passion for quantum computing and other emerging technologies. Have good understanding of the basics of business thinking. Understand business analytics – curious about data and trends and how those impact marketing success. Eagerness to learn and take initiative. A D-Waver's DNA.
