You’ll set the technical direction, guide the execution, and ensure the quality of data science and analytics across the entire company.. Primary responsibilities. Be a technical leader and beacon of excellence across the company.  . Lead the development and implementation of advanced data analysis algorithms and statistical models across multiple business units.. Design and drive company-wide data initiatives, shaping the direction of data analytics and insights to support strategic decisions.. Mentor and guide junior data scientists and analysts.. Communicate complex data-driven insights and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders, facilitating data-driven decision making at the highest levels of the company.. Technical Requirements. Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior data science role within a large, complex tech company.. Strong expertise in statistical analysis, basic machine learning, and predictive modeling.. Proficient in Python and familiar with data science libraries (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn).. Fluency using distributed SQL query engines like Hive, Presto, or Trino.. Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).. Nice to have (but not required):. Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics)..
