Product Designer, Cross-Product Foundations at Figma. Location Information: USA. We are looking for an experienced Product Designer to lead the development of cross-product design patterns within Figma’s evolving ecosystem. This role is pivotal in addressing the complex challenges that arise as our suite of products expands, ensuring seamless integration and a consistent user experience across all Figma tools. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in designing for intricate, multi-product environments and will drive the creation of sophisticated design solutions that support a wide range of users.. This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.. What you'll do at Figma:. Shape and influence the overall strategy for cross-product design, guiding the evolution of how Figma’s products interact and enhance each other. Tackle advanced design challenges that involve multiple, interconnected products, ensuring a cohesive and scalable user experience. Define and communicate a compelling vision for cross-product design patterns, aligning with Figma’s broader design principles. Partner closely with product management, engineering, design, and research to develop and implement design systems that work harmoniously across different products. Design, prototype, and iterate on intricate workflows and high-fidelity visuals, delivering solutions that meet the complex needs of our diverse user base. We’d love to hear from you if you have:. 8+ years of experience in UX and UI design for software products, with a focus on multi-product ecosystems. Proven expertise in leading the design of integrated experiences across multiple, complex products, from concept through execution. Advanced problem-solving skills, particularly in designing intuitive and scalable solutions for challenging, cross-functional design problems. Extensive experience managing large-scale design projects that require coordination across multiple teams and organizational lines. Mastery of communicating sophisticated design through prototypes and concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. While it’s not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:. Experience in developing and refining large-scale design systems that span multiple products and platforms. A strong aesthetic sense, with a proven ability to craft visually compelling and highly functional user interfaces. If based in Figma’s San Francisco or New York hub offices, this role has the annual base salary range stated below.    . Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process (including skills and prior relevant experience, potential impact, and scope of role), market demands, and specific work location. The listed range is a guideline, and the range for this role may be modified. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, the pay range is localized according to employee work location by a factor of between 80% and 100% of range.
