
Content Specialist - Information Security at Degreed. Location Information: USA. We are seeking a highly organized Content Specialist in Information Security to lead the organization, governance, and upkeep of our security and privacy content within an AI-enabled repository. In this role, you will manage a central repository of internal documentation as well as externally available materials in our content management platform and Trust Center.. This role is responsible for managing and securing the full lifecycle of documentation that supports Degreed’s Security, Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Program. A critical part of this role involves ensuring that accurate and up-to-date resources are available to internal stakeholders, go-to-market teams (GTM), auditors, and customers, while clearly communicating Degreed’s security and privacy posture.. Key Skills. Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Communications, Technical Writing, Information Management, or a related field.. 2+ years of experience in documentation, content management, or technical writing—ideally in a SaaS or software organization.. Understanding of compliance frameworks and how documentation supports SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, CCPA, etc.. Experience using content/document management tools (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint, and security Trust Center platforms (Drata, Vanta, SecureFrame). Excellent writing, editing, and organizational skills with attention to clarity, consistency, and stakeholder alignment.. Key Responsibilities. Content Repository & Trust Center Management. Own and maintain an AI-enabled, centralized repository of all security, compliance, GRC, and privacy documentation—including policies, procedures, standards, certifications, audit evidence, risk assessments, third-party security reviews and customer collateral.. Manage content across both internal content management platforms (e.g., Confluence, Responsive, SharePoint) and our external Trust Center.. Ensure materials are current, regularly reviewed, approved, and version-controlled in alignment with compliance requirements and internal review cadences.. Internal & External Enablement. Partner with Legal, Security, Product, and Customer teams to publish clear, accurate, and approved customer-facing materials, including security whitepapers, data privacy statements, and FAQs.. Ensure sales, success, and support teams have access to up-to-date, approved responses and documentation for customer questionnaires, RFPs, and compliance reviews.. Build and maintain an internal knowledge base of content to enable employee awareness and alignment with security protocols and data protection practices.. Documentation Standards & Process Management. Define and enforce documentation standards, metadata conventions, access rules, and review workflows to ensure quality, security, and scalability.. Ensure that the AI-enabled system can accurately retrieve answers. Coordinate periodic content reviews with stakeholders to keep all documentation accurate and aligned to evolving regulatory and business needs.. Support security and privacy audits by maintaining accurate records and evidence artifacts in centralized repositories.. Help maintain any ready-to-use customer assurance packages . Preferred Qualifications. Experience supporting InfoSec, GRC, or customer trust programs in a software company.. Understanding of security questionnaires and customer security review processes.. Experience with AI-enabled repositories.. Exposure to knowledge base or L&D content development is a plus.. Familiarity with version control workflows and content lifecycle best practices.. Compensation. We are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.. The total pay range for this role is $135,000 - $165,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
