The Outcomes Research Manager will support the generation, and communication of evidence focused on patient-centered outcomes assessments and Comparative Effectiveness Research (including methods to facilitate comparisons) to advance Viatris’ mission of empowering people world-wide to live healthier at every stage of life through access, leadership and partnership. The role will provide integral support of the generation of prospective and retrospective real-world evidence to enhance patient care. As a member of the greater Global Medical Affairs organization, this role plays a key part in developing, synthesizing, and applying real-world evidence and outcomes research to ensure that research reflects what matters most to patients.. Working cross-functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders, the manager contributes to decision-making through data analysis that informs data-driven insights.. The position also supports study operations, evidence synthesis, and strategic alignment with Global Medical Services.. Assist in the conduct of a range of studies including both, prospective studies (surveys/ registries) and retrospective studies (i.e. data-base analysis and patient chart reviews. . Conduct literature reviews, develop protocols, and execute studies with a focus on Comparative Effectiveness Research (and methods), patient-reported outcomes (PROs), quality of life, and other patient-centred endpoints.. Apply real-world data analytics and evidence synthesis techniques to generate insights that inform product strategy and health outcomes.. Contribute to scientific communications, including abstracts, manuscripts, and presentations, particularly those highlighting patient-relevant findings.. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support projects from design through dissemination, ensuring alignment with business and patient needs.. Partner with cross-functional teams across Medical, Clinical, Commercial, and Regulatory to support integrated evidence planning and execution.. Support broader outcomes research strategy, promoting a culture of patient-centered thinking and evidence-based decision-making across the organization.. The minimum qualifications for this role are:. Bachelor’s degree in economics, Statistics, Biostatistics, Data Science, Analytics, Medicine, Epidemiology, or Public Health required.. Master’s degree preferred. . Minimum of 2 years’ experience Statistics, Biostatistics, Data Science, Analytics, Medicine, Epidemiology, or Public Health preferred.. Minimum of 1 year of experience in Project management and execution by harnessing big data, e.g., clinical trials, observational studies, or market research. . Minimum of 1 year of experience in pharmaceutical launch.. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration..
