As the Product Manager for Payments, you’ll help define and drive the strategy for how attendees pay confidently and effortlessly. You’ll support initiatives that expand payment methods, optimize processing costs, reduce payment failures, and uphold the highest standards of security and compliance.. You’ll be comfortable iterating quickly on near-term opportunities (e.g., payment method adoption, fraud prevention improvements) while contributing to long-term bets (e.g., new PSP integrations, infrastructure scalability).. This is a high-impact role at the heart of the monetization journey, directly influencing our ability to grow and expand globally.. YOU WILL. Contribute to the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Eventbrite’s payments ecosystem.. Build and support strong relationships with global payment service providers.. Deeply understand the needs of our buyers and creators—and translate those insights into opportunities to expand payment methods and reduce friction.. Identify and prioritize initiatives that improve conversion, lower processing costs, and minimize payment failures.. Help ensure security, compliance, and resiliency remain central to all payment experiences.. Collaborate across engineering, design, analytics, marketing, and finance to deliver a seamless end-to-end payments journey.. Balance product experimentation, platform scaling, and technical investments.. Define clear goals and success metrics, and drive execution with energy, curiosity, and a commitment to excellence.. Partner with cross-functional teams to keep everyone focused on what matters most to users and the business.. THE SKILLSET. 3-5 years of product management experience in consumer-facing products, ideally in ecommerce or marketplaces. Proven track record of contributing to impact in payments, PSP integrations, or transaction optimization.. Exposure to global payment methods, fraud prevention, or financial infrastructure.. Customer empathy and a user-first mindset, with experience leveraging research to guide decisions.. Analytical and data-driven, with experience using metrics to inform priorities.. Skilled at collaborating across disciplines and navigating technical and regulatory complexity.. Clear communicator who can articulate vision, strategy, and rationale to stakeholders.. Ability to contribute to and support cross-functional teams with focus and alignment.. BONUS POINTS. Experience working with PSPs, acquirers, or fraud prevention platforms.. Familiarity with payments compliance and regulatory environments (PCI, PSD2, 3DS etc.).. Experience helping optimize margins and payment costs at scale.. Background working on experimentation platforms or running A/B tests at scale. Familiarity with frontend and backend architecture of complex systems. Passion for live events and belief in their power to bring people together. PAY TRANSPARENCY. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Eventbrite, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
