Manager - Dietetics at Strive Health. Location Information: USA. What You’ll Do. As a Manager of Dietetics at Strive, you will use your consultative expertise and compassion to help patients understand that what they eat directly affects their overall health and the progression of CKD. You will empower patients to take ownership of their health through partnership and empathy. As a vital member of the patient's care team, you will analyze lab results, educate patients and their families on nutrition for diabetes, hypertension and CHF to help slow the progression of CKD. The Manager of Dietetics will also serve as a people leader in the department and assist with everyday processes, deliverables, and management responsibilities.   . The Day to Day. Registered Dietitian Responsibilities. Provide comprehensive Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) education and ongoing nutritional assessments based on patient labs, medical history, and individual needs, with the focus on disease management (DM, HTN, CHF) to prevent CKD Progression.. Establish SMART goals and build therapeutic patient relationships through personalized meal planning education, grocery shopping guidance, and empathetic support to promote self-care and improved quality of life.. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including nurse practitioners, social workers, pharmacists, and physicians to communicate nutrition-related patient concerns and coordinate comprehensive care.. Select and develop appropriate education materials and methods for individual patients while staying current on disease management clinical guidelines, and best practices.. Provide specialized, compassionate care for patients with complex needs, driving prevention opportunities to slow disease progression and minimize complications.. People Manager Responsibilities. Drive team performance metrics, identify deficiencies, and collaborate with leadership to implement improvement strategies while operating with a leadership focus to support department goals.. Conduct quality assurance audits of RD documentation, troubleshoot workflows, and develop processes that ensure consistent, high-quality care delivery across all markets.. Design educational materials, coordinate duties and workflows for CC and DTR.. Develop RD continuing education programs based on updated disease protocols, and deliver employee-facing presentations on workflows and processes.. Participate in recruitment activities including candidate interviews, coordinate credentialing to maintain current state licensures, and guide RD team within scope of practice.. Generate reports, organize departmental data, assess new technologies, and update protocols based on nationally recognized organizations. (KDOQI, American Diabetes Association, etc.).. All other duties assigned.. Qualifications. Minimum:. Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or similar area required.. 4+ years professional work experience in clinical nutrition as a Registered Dietitian required.. Internet Connectivity - Min Speeds: 3.8Mbps/3.0Mbps (up/down): Latency <60 ms. . Ability for occasional travel and be onsite to meet business needs.. Preferred:. 2 years management or similar management experience.. Strong counseling experience desired, especially in DM, HTN and CHF, and CKD.. Demonstrated understanding of renal nutrition best practices.. Intermediate computer skills and proficiency with MS Word, Powerpoint and Outlook.. Annual Base Salary Range: $86,000 - $104,000
