AI Automation Engineer at Postscript. Location Information: USA. We're building something new at Postscript! We're looking for a highly dynamic and innovative. AI Automation Engineer. to join a new internal tools team. In this unique role, you will act as a 'force multiplier' across the company, focused on applying AI tools and technologies to solve our most pressing operational challenges. This is a hands-on position focused on partnering with a broad set of stakeholders to identify inefficiencies and develop scrappy technical solutions. . Primary duties. Problem identification & collaboration:. Partner with key stakeholders around the business. Quickly understand their business challenges and translate those into technical solutions.. Build internal tools. : Develop and maintain internal tools that automate existing work and increase employee productivity. Rapidly prototype AI-enabled utilities or automations and deploy them to users.. Project management:. Manage multiple projects simultaneously. Structure the work into discrete steps and sprints. Make tough tradeoff decisions optimizing for time to value.. Documentation & training:. Clearly document your work and provide training to users, ensuring the successful adoption and long-term success of new tools.. AI tool evaluation:. Lead the evaluation of third-party AI tools and technologies. Ensure we make informed build-versus-buy decisions. What We’ll Love About You. 4+ years experience building tools and workflows to enhance productivity . A scrappy problem solver with a positive, can-do attitude. A curious mind especially related to AI. Excellent communication and a passion for sharing knowledge. Deep empathy to understand customer pain points and anticipate needs. Hands-on experience using a variety of AI and automation technologies (e.g., OpenAI, Zapier, Retool, Slackbots, Workato, APIs, AI Agents, Pinecone, Streamlit). Experience with context/prompt engineering. Proficiency with SQL, Python, and Javascript. High ownership and agency. What You’ll Love About Us.
