Investment Financial Analyst at BuzzRx. Location Information: USA. Job Title: Investment Financial Analyst. ***Remote***. Job Summary:. We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented . Investment Financial Analyst . to support our investment decision-making process. In this role, you will conduct in-depth financial analysis, evaluate investment opportunities across asset classes, assist in portfolio management, and prepare reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and external investors. The ideal candidate has strong modeling skills, a deep understanding of financial markets, and the ability to interpret complex financial data.. Key Responsibilities:. -Conduct investment research and analyze market trends, economic indicators, and industry developments.. -Build and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate potential investments, including discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company analysis, and precedent transactions.. -Support the due diligence process for new investments, including financial, operational, and competitive analysis.. -Monitor portfolio company performance and provide ongoing analysis and reporting.. -Assist in the preparation of investment memos, pitch decks, and presentations for the investment committee and clients.. -Evaluate public and private investment opportunities in equities, fixed income, alternatives, or private equity, depending on the firm’s focus.. -Track market developments and news related to current and prospective investments.. -Collaborate with portfolio managers, senior analysts, and external advisors to support strategic investment decisions.. Requirements:. -Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or master’s in finance a plus).. -2–5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, asset management, or a similar investment-focused role.. -Strong financial modeling and valuation skills (DCF, LBO, IRR, sensitivity analysis, etc.).. -Advanced proficiency in Excel and presentation tools like PowerPoint.. -Familiarity with financial data providers such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, PitchBook, or FactSet.. -Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.. -Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with experience preparing professional reports and presentations.. Preferred Qualifications:. -CFA designation (or candidacy) is strongly preferred.. -Experience in a specific sector (e.g., technology, energy, real estate, healthcare) may be advantageous.. -Understanding of portfolio theory, risk assessment, and investment strategies.. Work Environment:. Full-time, with occasional extended hours during deal execution or reporting periods.. Hybrid or on-site depending on company policy..
