As an Operations Engineering Associate, you will be responsible for:. -Building and maintaining automated operations workflows, including trade flow monitoring, reconciliations, exception management, and intraday position integrity checks. . -Developing tools and scripts to streamline repetitive processes across trade capture, reconciliation, margin monitoring, and corporate actions lifecycle.. -Partnering with the tech teams to translate operational requirements into system features, data models, and integration logics. . -Testing new system features, coordinating UAT, documenting workflows, and ensuring smooth production releases with minimal operational risk. . -Collaborating with PMs, traders, and tech teams to implement scalable pipelines, automate reconciliations, and strengthen controls as trading volumes and instruments expand. . -Supporting BAU operational duties include trade capture, reconciliation, resolution of position and trade-related queries, ad-hoc reporting, settlement, compressions, collapses, and corporate actions.. What you’ll bring:. -Strong working knowledge of financial markets technology platforms. . -Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, or similar tools to automate workflows, analyze large datasets, and build operational tools. . -Ability to translate operational processes into technical specifications. . -Understanding of APIs, FIX, and file based integrations used in daily trade lifecycle workflows. . -Experience building custom reports, dashboards, alerting logic for reconciliation, break investigation, risk monitoring, or regulatory reporting. . -Proven hands-on experience of at least five years in an operations team with significant flow that includes automated trading.. Personal hands-on experience of at least three years in the following operations procedures for IRS:. -Handling trade capture (i.e., bookings) and booking amendments in a well-known OMS.. -Performing trade settlement, as well as position and PnL reconciliations.. -Conducting standard line-item management for IRS, such as unwinds, collapses and compressions.. -A good understanding of IRS, including associated operations workflows.. -Strong, clear, and concise verbal and written communication skills in English.. Preferred experience:. -A good understanding of CFD, futures, CDS and TRS, including associated operations workflows.. -Experience in collateral management (margin and cash).. -Experience with corporate actions in cash equities.. -Proficiency in German..
