Job Responsibilities. ● Lead the technical evolution of Trafilea’s checkout ecosystem, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.. ● Design and deliver new features across frontend, middleware, and core APIs (checkout, upselling, taxes).. ● Drive architecture improvements, refactoring initiatives, and technical quality standards.. ● Ensure platform performance, uptime, and monitoring (latency, error rates, quality gates).. ● Partner with Product and Business teams to translate goals into scalable technical solutions.. ● Lead agile delivery and promote engineering best practices within the team.. ● Mentor engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing.. ● Strong experience leading technical initiatives in software development teams.. ● Solid experience designing and evolving distributed systems and APIs.. ● Strong background in backend and frontend development for high-traffic platforms.. ● Proven experience with SQL schemas, stored procedures, and database design.. ● Strong understanding of performance optimization, monitoring, and reliability engineering.. ● Strong code quality mindset: testing, code reviews, clean architecture, and maintainability.. ● Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.. ● Passionate mentor with a reputation for raising engineering standards.. ● Exceptional communicator—fluent in English, collaborative across disciplines.. ● You lead with autonomy, always with big-picture strategic clarity.
