Accountable for collaboratively defining and communicating product vision, strategy, and roadmap — both short and long term — in alignment with organizational growth goals and broader transformation initiatives. Contributes to portfolio vision and communicates product strategy to the squad, partner teams, and executive leadership.. With business partners, accountable for developing and achieving product-level KPIs and OKRs with a strong focus on increasing automation rate, quoting efficiency, and quoting accuracy. Manages products with a high degree of strategy, scope, and complexity.. Owns and maintains the product backlog, accountable for its contents and prioritization — balancing win-now work that supports current new business goals with strategic investments aligned to broader transformation initiatives. Understands and clearly articulates why work is prioritized the way it is, communicating that rationale to the squad and key stakeholders.. Works closely with service operations users and leaders, distribution teams, and other key stakeholders to deeply understand business priorities, user needs, and constraints. Serves as a primary voice for service operations partners throughout the product development process.. Integrates operational data, user insights, and business analytics into product decisions, driving data-informed prioritization that advances automation, efficiency, and accuracy outcomes.. Sets priorities and actively participates in squad/team quarterly planning. Contributes to and actively participates in portfolio quarterly planning. Sets clear expectations with stakeholders for delivery of new capabilities, features, and functionalities.. Participates in squad/team demos, retrospectives, and all other agile ceremonies.. Works daily with the agile team clarifying business requirements, removing roadblocks, and supporting alignment around product strategy. Partners closely with Engineering leadership to align priorities and ensure delivery of product outcomes.. Co-accountable with the Engineering Manager for timing of execution and delivery of product outcomes. Partners with IT and business leadership to align development and business goals while proactively removing roadblocks to execution.. Monitors and maintains product health with a focus on core KPIs. Designs additional monitoring to support an enhanced understanding of product health and proactively monitors this product's impact on others in the ecosystem.. Analyzes and reports on feasibility, cost of delay, total cost of ownership (TCO), and other aspects of planned or potential product changes.. Drives alignment with stakeholders to understand the impact of regulatory, compliance, and insurance industry constraints on the product and broader portfolio. Negotiates with internal and external teams to set aligned priorities within and outside the portfolio.. Qualifications. Advanced knowledge of Agile development methodologies as typically acquired through a Bachelors’ degree in relevant field (business, computer science, humanities etc.), 7 years in business, technology, or consulting with 5 to 7 years direct experience with agile teams. Master's degree preferred. High level of proven business expertise needed to set clear priorities for product and understand business value impacts. Develops strong stakeholder relationships and influencing across multiple organizational boundaries. Demonstrated experience leading varied audiences through the development of complex ideas, issues and designs. Ability to lead varied audiences through consensus building. Proven experience with Agile practices and expectations. Comfortable with making decisions with some level of uncertainty. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Knowledge of insurance industry preferred. Knowledge of relevant products and portfolio strongly preferred. Strong experimental mindset to drive innovation amongst uncertainty and exploit market opportunities. About Us. Pay Philosophy:.
