Job Description. We are looking for a highly skilled . Lead Systems Engineer. to oversee, manage, and optimize our Edge Network infrastructure. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with team leadership, ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable systems that support business operations. . What you'll do: . Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of edge infrastructure, including servers, networking, and a lot of infrastructure glue. . Ensure high availability, performance, and security hardening of the systems. . Mentor and guide engineers, providing technical direction, goals and support. . Implement and manage automation for system provisioning, monitoring, and maintenance. . Establish and enforce best practices for systems engineering, observability, and incident response. . Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including: product, RnD, network, security, and support. . Continuously improving configuration management, automation, observability, agentic workflows and tools. . Participate in on-call rotations and incident management as needed. . Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to infrastructure and processes. . Qualifications. What We Are Looking For:. Strong expertise in linux/*nix environments. . Proficiency in scripting/automation tools such as Python, Bash, Ansible, or Terraform. . Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid infrastructure. . Solid understanding of networking, security, and storage concepts. . Solid experience with agentic coding. . Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. . 6+ years of experience in systems engineering/sre, with leadership or team lead experience for 3+ years. . Nice-to-have:. Experience with Puppet, Prometheus, Grafana, Victoria Logs.. Knowledge of security and performance troubleshooting practices.. Experience in web security, AI in a wider sense. .
