Backend Engineer Ledger at CloudWalk. Location Information: Brazil. What You'll Do:. This role sits on a team that owns both auth and ledger, so you'll occasionally pick up work across both areas.   - Develop and maintain Stratus, an EVM-compatible centralized ledger released as open source   - Build and operate the indexers that ingest and expose ledger state   - Support other teams integrating with the ledger   - Improve performance, reliability, and correctness of a system that holds production financial state   - Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders . Who You Are:. Has operated critical infrastructure on cloud providers like GCP or AWS, using tools such as Terraform. Has developed databases or data-intensive applications. Has developed parallel and distributed systems. Is proficient in Rust. Familiarity with the EVM, Solidity, or blockchain internals is a plus. Knowledge of the Brazilian payments ecosystem is a plus.
