Compassion International is looking for an AI-Enablement Specialist to join the Data Literacy and Sense-making Team to advance MERL's Strategic Priority #3: Drive Action from Insights. The position will support responsible AI enablement across global MERL (specifically the Collaboration and Integration for Impact team (CII)), regional, and National Office workflows and an initiative that equips National Offices (and potentially frontline church partners) to use AI as a data consultant for timely, data-informed decisions. This support will improve efficiency, collaboration, partner service, and outcomes for children and youth.. What will you do?. Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, maintains a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Compassion, and faithfully upholds Compassion’s ministry in prayer.. Acts as an advocate to raise the awareness of the needs of children. Understands Christ’s mandate to protect children. Commits to and prioritizes child protection considerations in all decision-making, tasks and activities across the ministry. Abides by all behavioral expectations in Compassion’s Statement of Commitment to Child Protection and Code of Conduct. Reports any concerns of abuse, neglect or exploitation of children through Compassion’s internal reporting process and appropriately supports responses to incidents if they occur.. Uphold and engage in Compassion’s core . Cultural Behaviors. .. Supports overall holistic child development and compiles and generates simple reports on high volumes of data to measure program inputs, outputs, and outcomes. As directed, aids the work of partnership facilitators, program support teams and church partners. Actively seeking further knowledge in field of expertise including industry standards, national policies and best practices.. Utilizes simple tools and instruments to assist the program team in conducting empirical assessment. Further, uses similar instruments to keep track of progress through receiving and formatting monitoring and evaluation reports to inform program design.. Monitors general partner compliance and adherence to standards, procedures, and policies related to program quality; especially data collection of child focused data. Provides general resources regarding intervention milestones realization, financial report status, child development milestone monitoring, partner maturity progress and such other programmatic aspects that would lead to the realization of partnership outcomes.. Assists with tracking all child focused data dashboards to track critical program dimensions and performance and enable the National Office Leadership Team to see meaningful improvements or decline in performance.. As directed, assists with budgeting and planning for all data collections and other monitoring and evaluation activities in the National office.. What do you bring?.
