Founding Business Development Representative at Osmind. Location Information: . Osmind is a public benefit corporation advancing psychiatry through technology, services, and real-world evidence to bring innovative mental health treatments to patients in need. Osmind's psychiatry-tailored software and services, used by leading psychiatry practices across the U.S., help improve patient outcomes while driving practice success. Osmind's network of over 1000 clinics comprises the country's largest network of interventional psychiatry practices. Simultaneously, Osmind's clinic network, point-of-care software, and real-world data support life sciences companies in developing and scaling access to cutting-edge treatments. Osmind is a 50-person, Series B-stage company and has raised funding from top investors such as DFJ Growth, Y Combinator, and General Catalyst.. . The Opportunity. . We're hiring two Founding Business Development Representatives (BDRs) to build Osmind's outbound motion from the ground up. We're adding a proactive motion alongside the inbound demand we already see, and this is the team that will start those conversations. You'll report directly to our Director of Sales with no layer in between, and the approach you work out in the first few months becomes the playbook everyone after you runs on.. . The clinics you'll reach out to treat people whose depression hasn't responded to conventional care, using interventional therapies like ketamine, Spravato, and TMS. Running one of these programs is operationally demanding, and clinics that struggle with the business side of it often can't grow, or stop offering the treatment altogether. When we help a clinic run that side of its practice well, more patients get access to care that works.. . We're growing quickly, with strong market pull and a large opportunity ahead of us. The Account Executive path is the main one from here, and we hope and expect the first BDR Team Lead to come from this group rather than an outside hire. Our outbound runs on Unify, whose AI chat interface handles enrichment and sequence building, and we expect you in it daily from day one — automation carries the volume so your own time goes to the conversations that need a person.. . What You'll Do. . . Own a list of target clinics. You'll know the treatments they offer, how they operate, and who actually makes decisions.. . Research each account before you reach out, so your first sentence is about their situation rather than our software.. . Spend real time on the phone. The conversations that move these clinics forward happen live rather than over email.. . Respond fast when a clinic shows interest, whether that comes as a reply, a click, or a visit to our site.. . Qualify honestly and verify what you're told. Passing a poor fit to an Account Executive costs the team more than a missed meeting.. . Route each clinic to the right offering before handing it over — some want us to run the business side for them, others want the software on its own.. . Own your outbound workflow in Unify. Enrichment, sequencing, and drafting are yours to run, and we want you pushing past the defaults rather than accepting them. This is a daily tool, not a bonus skill.. . Help write the playbook. You're arriving before it exists, and what works for you becomes how we do this.. . . What We're Looking For. . . Ownership — this is new ground for us, so we need someone who will experiment and find a way through as we build the playbook together. . Comfortable talking to people who weren't expecting to hear from you, without needing a warm introduction to start a conversation. . Able to hold a real conversation about how a business makes and loses money, or ready to get there quickly. . Treats whoever answers the phone as an ally rather than an obstacle — in a clinic, that person often decides whether the owner ever hears about us. . AI-first instincts: you reach for it before doing something manually. Ideally you have built or configured an outreach or enrichment workflow yourself, in Unify, Outreach, Salesloft, Clay, or something similar, rather than only using one someone else set up. . Writes clearly and persuasively. The first two lines of a cold email do the work, and we will look at your writing before we meet you. . Coachable and wants to be — you'll work closely with the Director of Sales and get a great deal of it. . No prior BDR experience required. We're looking for grit and creativity ahead of a track record. . . Bonus points. . . Experience in healthcare, medical billing, or working in a clinic. . Exposure to mental health care, professionally or personally. . . $70,274 - $81,900 a year. . Depending on experience.. . The reasonably estimated national salary range for this position is between $70274 and $81900 per year, plus an equity package for eligible employees. Actual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and local cost of labor. In addition, Osmind offers a wide range of comprehensive and inclusive employee benefits, including healthcare, dental, vision, generous family leave, FSA/DCFSA, mental health benefits, a 401(k) plan, and flexible paid time off..
