Key Responsibilities. The mission of the Accounting Specialist is to . ensure accurate and timely execution of accounting processes, reconciliations, and financial reporting. , supporting Trafilea’s growth with a scalable and compliant finance foundation. This role plays a critical part in monthly close, financial statement preparation, and intercompany transactions, while also contributing to audit readiness and process improvements.. Closing & Reporting. : Execute journal entries, reconciliations, and account reviews for key accounts (Revenue, COGS).. Audit Readiness. : Provide accurate, timely documentation for external audits.. Intercompany Transactions. : Maintain accuracy of intercompany balances and agreements.. Financial Statements. : Prepare reporting packages for internal and external stakeholders.. Process Improvements. : Contribute to optimization of accounting processes and infrastructure.. Compliance. : Ensure adherence to IFRS standards; SOX/US GAAP knowledge is a plus. Bachelor's degree in Accounting.. Big4/equivalent audit background (5+ years external audit, ideally retail/e-commerce) — . OR. 1+ yr Senior Auditor + 2+ yrs Sr Accounting Analyst in retail — . OR. 7+ yrs retail accounting with 3+ yrs at Senior level.. IFRS expertise (mandatory); SOX/US GAAP a plus.. NetSuite ERP experience valued.. Advanced Excel (mandatory).. English advanced (spoken/written); Spanish intermediate.. Proactive, dynamic, and autonomous.. Strong analytical and organizational skills..
