Position Overview. VivSoft Technologies is seeking a Business Analyst to support a federal program by gathering requirements, analyzing business processes, and helping bridge the gap between stakeholders and technical teams. This role is well-suited for someone who is detail-oriented, communicates clearly across technical and non-technical audiences, and enjoys turning ambiguous problems into clear, actionable solutions.. Key Responsibilities. Gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements from stakeholders. Translate business needs into clear requirements documentation, user stories, and process flows. Analyze current-state processes and identify opportunities for improvement or automation. Collaborate with developers, product owners, and project managers to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly. Support testing efforts by developing test cases and validating that delivered solutions meet business requirements. Facilitate meetings and workshops with stakeholders to elicit requirements and gather feedback. Create and maintain documentation, including process maps, requirement traceability matrices, and status reports. Assist with data analysis and reporting to support decision-making. Required Qualifications. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar requirements-gathering role. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work across both technical and business teams. Experience documenting requirements, user stories, and/or process workflows. Proficiency with standard office and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Visio, Confluence, JIRA). U.S. Citizenship required
