
Senior Practice Director - Cloud Automation at GuidePoint Security. Location Information: USA. The Senior Director, Cloud Automation is a leadership role responsible for driving technical innovation, service development, and strategic delivery of cloud automation solutions across Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and platforms that integrate with them. This role leads multi-disciplinary teams focused on security automation, AI-enhanced across cloud disciplines, and security-as-a-service offerings. The Senior Director will work cross-functionally with CSP practice leaders, alliances, engineering, and sales to develop scalable service lines and ensure consistent delivery excellence.. Roles and Responsibilities:. Practice and Delivery Leadership. Lead design and implementation of automation solutions across Azure, AWS, and GCP security consulting practices.. Define and manage delivery frameworks and reusable IP for cloud-native security.. Drive internal enablement for scalable, consistent client delivery models.. Lead strategy for incorporating AI/ML and large language models (LLMs) into cloud solutions.. Oversee the development of policy-as-code, identity orchestration, and CNAPP-aligned security services.. Define and launch as-a-service security offerings for cloud automation and cloud security.. Partner with Information Assurance teams to operationalize services at scale.. Coordinate marketing and alliances to support GTM strategy.. Mentor, coach, and develop senior cloud security architects, consultants, and automation engineers.. Drive internal upskilling programs and certification initiatives across cloud automation domains.. Align resources and staffing plans to support revenue, utilization, and margin targets.. Support inter-practice initiatives with other Information Security teams.. Align service innovation with broader Information Assurance (IA) goals.. Champion a collaborative culture to scale multi-discipline solutions.. Act as a technical sponsor for key accounts and high-visibility delivery engagements.. Provide SME support for pre-sales, client strategy workshops, and solution architecture reviews.. Represent the firm in alliance engagements, industry events, and thought leadership activities.. Requirements:. Experience. 10+ years of cybersecurity experience with a focus on cloud security; at least 5 years in a leadership or senior consulting role.. Proven success in designing and delivering complex, multi-cloud security solutions.. Experience launching or managing automation and AI-driven services.. Strong consulting or services delivery background in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.. Technical Proficiency. Deep knowledge of cloud-native security services across Azure (e.g., Defender, Purview), AWS (e.g., Security Hub, GuardDuty), and GCP (e.g., SecOps, SCC).. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation), CI/CD pipeline security, and container/Kubernetes security.. Familiarity with AI/ML models in security use cases and integration of LLMs or AI copilots.. Working knowledge of API integration for cloud technologies.. Leadership & Collaboration. Strong people management skills with the ability to scale teams and mentor senior technical staff.. Ability to work across sales, delivery, and alliances to align GTM execution and delivery capacity.. Executive-level communication skills; able to interface with CISOs and CTOs.. Education & Certifications. Bachelor’s or equivalent experience in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.. Preferred certifications:. CISSP, CCSP, CCSK.
