
Senior Data Analyst at Pinterest. Location Information: USA. Pinterest is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our People Insights, Technology & Analytics team. You’ll be part of a high-performing team that analyzes people data to inform business strategy and support data-driven decisions for people and programs, ultimately contributing to business outcomes.. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will collaborate with and support analytics experts, data scientists, and business intelligence specialists to deliver data and insights that empower leaders to make informed decisions. You’ll gather requirements, suggest more effective data solutions and design, interpret data to inform decisions and help improve the employee experience across all of our People programs. You’ll build ad hoc deliverables or collaborate with your teammates to build enduring data products, evolve dashboards, produce operational KPIs used to drive business decision-making, and partner with stakeholders on the People Team to support Pinterest leaders, managers, and employees. . What you’ll do:. Develop reporting and presentations that answer ad hoc requests or initiative supporting questions.. Mine data, analyze, report and translate findings into relevant, actionable, and digestible insights.. Develop, automate, and maintain robust data workflows and automated report/deliverable generation.. Validate data accuracy, completeness, and integrity, and address data quality issues. . Ensure a data perspective is applied to understanding and evaluating effectiveness of people programs, such as impact analysis. . Collaborate with teammates and cross-functional partners to improve our offerings and design meaningful insights closely aligned with needs.. Advocate for continuous improvement by identifying clear measures of success as well as influencing process design to enable appropriate data capture.. Implement data governance best practices by ensuring privacy and security compliance, and thoroughly documenting data sources and processes.. What we’re looking for:. You have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent practical experience. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners and stakeholders and represent both stakeholder and PIA perspectives.. Intermediate experience with HR COEs data and analytics.. Intermediate skill with visualization tools (e.g. Tableau), static delivery tools (e.g., PowerPoint/G-Slides, Excel, etc).. Ability to clean and preprocess data to ensure its accuracy and consistency. . Ability to manipulate large data sets with high dimensionality and complexity; proficient in SQL.. Experience in a relevant analytics role with a strong preference applying your skills to employee and organization related data.. Ability to work across multiple areas simultaneously and prioritize effectively.. Intermediate experience in data storytelling and use of data visualizations to bring important takeaways and concepts to life. Creates cogent narratives and encourages business partners to critically engage in data-driven decision making.. Foundational experience with inferential statistics (e.g. A/B testing, regression). . Experience in Human Resources technology and tools (for example, including Workday and Greenhouse) and Github/Gitlab is a plus.. . Relocation Statement:.
