This role will support one or more direct or indirect contracts with the U.S. Federal Government which, due to federal government security requirements, mandates that all Workday personnel working on the contracts be United States citizens (naturalized or native).. The Industry Advisor, Defense & Intelligence will support the GTM strategy for Workday’s U.S. Federal business. You will work closely with the GVP of Federal, the Industry Lead for Civilian Government, and account level sales executives to identify and implement our approach to key pursuits and engagements, represent Workday externally to the federal communities and help differentiate our value proposition to grow our business.. About You. Basic Qualifications:. This position requires a TS/SCI with CI POLY security clearance. Applicants must already possess a valid and active TS/SCI with CI POLY security clearance.. 10+ years of relevant Federal Government experience with at least 5 years of which is having served in a leadership role at a federal agency.. Understanding of federal agency decision processes, including budgeting cycles, IT investment considerations and procurement processes.. Other Qualifications:. Strong executive presence, evidenced through consistent thought leadership/ engagement in the Federal industry including relationships with associations such as ACT-IAC, AGA, etc.. Rich understanding of federal key influencers, consultants, systems integrators, and overall industry ecosystem.. Familiarity with industry ecosystems and software solutions to support CHRO, CIO, CFO and Procurement processes within federal market.. Track record of successful delivery of strategic, cross-functional initiatives at-scale and proven business impact.. Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills; strong aptitude for structuring complex problems and presenting well-supported solutions.. Workday Pay Transparency Statement.
