The Senior Manager, Operations and Contracts is responsible for supporting day-to-day operations, coordinating contract workflows, and assisting with contract compliance across the organization. This role plays a key part in keeping internal processes organized and efficient, helping ensure that documentation is complete, deadlines are met, and policies are followed. The Senior Manager works closely with multiple teams to facilitate smooth operational and contractual processes.. As a fully remote organization, we rely on scheduled in-person gatherings to foster alignment, collaboration, and organizational culture. This role requires the ability to travel out of town overnight, up to several times per year for staff offsites, planning retreats, and company-wide events. These gatherings are essential for connection, brainstorming, and staying strategically aligned across teams. Participation is required as a core part of the role..  . Key Job Functions . Support operational systems, processes, and policies in support of Blue Star Families’ mission- specifically, improve information flow and management, business process and organizational planning.. Prepare operational reports and analyze data.. Track and manage the contract process using internal templates and checklists; gather documentation, route drafts for internal review, and ensure timely processing.. Serve as a liaison with vendors and clients to coordinate contract logistics, such as signatures, deliverables, and documentation.. Work with the Legal team to confirm that contracts meet required standards; escalate issues or questions as needed.. Maintain and manage contract databases and records.. Assist in identifying routine contract issues and flagging potential concerns for review by Legal or leadership.. Support contract renewal tracking and assist with preparing and processing amendments.. Help ensure that documentation aligns with internal policies and support recordkeeping for compliance purposes.. Assist in compiling materials or documentation for internal reviews and checks.. Provide general administrative support related to operations and contract workflows.. Out-of-town and overnight travel is required up to several times per year, depending on organizational needs.. Perform other duties as assigned. .  . Required Experience, Skills & Background . 4-5 years  years of related work experience . Ability to work both independently and collaboratively . Ability to produce high-quality work on deadline; comfortable managing multiple projects, priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment . Strong attention to detail . High degree of discretion and confidentiality . Strong writing and communication skills; demonstrated knowledge of professional correspondence . Working knowledge of Google Apps, and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) . Flexibility with work schedule to support staff and deadlines . Experience and/or comfort working in a virtual environment . Commitment to the highest standards of professionalism . Limited out-of-town and overnight travel is required. . May be required to work nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary to carry out key job functions. . Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 30 lbs..  .
