Lead forecasting (headcount and discretionary spend), budgeting, and performance analytics (OKRs, KPIs) for the R&D function to guide strategic decisions and create long-term value. Drive modeling related to product investments and pricing & packaging, with a deep understanding of the technical roadmap within the R&D organization. Deliver insightful reporting and analysis to senior leadership in support of Sprout’s financial planning processes. Partner cross-functionally with teams including Product, GTM, Accounting, and People Ops to provide strategic recommendations grounded in financial data. Minimum Qualifications:. 9+ years of FP&A experience, with 2+ years of R&D-specific FP&A experience (e.g., R&D efficiency metrics, cloud hosting spend). Proven ability to build enterprise SaaS financial models and metrics. Strong knowledge of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting, with the ability to clearly present complex financial information. Experience delivering reporting and analysis to executives and cross-functional teams. Experience with financial planning and data visualization tools, such as Tableau and Vena. Preferred Qualifications:. Experience leveraging AI or machine learning tools to enhance forecasting accuracy, identify trends, or automate financial analysis.
