Data Analyst at Origin. Location Information: USA. THE ROLE. Mission. We are looking for a Data Analyst with a passion for bringing meaning and understanding out of raw and semi-structured data. This role will have you working in a cross-functional and collaborative environment filled with technical talent to help you learn, develop, and hone your skills. As a partner to our product, marketing, and engineering teams you will help guide Origin’s growth through data-driven decision making.. Responsibilities. Design and maintain core business metrics, dashboards, and data products that empower teams to make informed decisions.. Partner with stakeholders across Marketing, Product, and Engineering to uncover insights about user behavior and product engagement. . Translate complex data into actionable insights through clear visualizations and storytelling.. Model clean, scalable datasets using modern tools like dbt, and Airflow.. Own the full lifecycle of analysis—from question definition and exploration to delivery and iteration.. Drive a culture of curiosity and experimentation, using data to identify growth opportunities and influence product roadmaps.. Ensure high-quality, reliable data through collaboration with engineering and proactive data validation.. Must Have. Proficiency in SQL, including advanced features like window functions and CTEs. . Experience using Python for data analysis, modeling, or automation.. Self-starter who enjoys working across a cross-functional team.. Experience building dashboards and visualizations in a BI Tool (e.g. Tableau, Metabase, PowerBI). Ability to clearly communicate analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related analytical field.. Nice to Have. 2-5 years of experience in a data or business intelligence role.. Familiarity with modern data orchestration tools like Airflow and dbt.. Experience with GitHub.. Experience in product and marketing analytics..
