Lead, grow and manage a team of Design Program Managers (DPMs), providing leadership and guidance to ensure successful navigation through ambiguity and achieving measurable program execution. Proactively identifying resource gaps and misaligned priorities; in partnership with the VP of Design and Design Leadership secure funding and reprioritize allocation across the team. Collaborate with Design, product management, engineering, and cross-functional partners to contribute to the product and technology strategy. Define and manage the operating rhythms for the Design team including execution, business and launch reviews. Engage with a stakeholder across engineering, product and Design at all levels, establishing and maintaining trusted connections. Mentor and build a high-performing program management team, focusing on growing managers and nurturing talent. What we’re looking for:. 10+ years of experience with building and managing a team of Design Program Managers and leading large-scale or complex technical initiatives. Bachelor’s degree in design, business administration a related field or equivalent experience. Deep understanding of design process, specifically for software development; experience with ML or AI technologies a plus . Proven track record of delivering complex infrastructure projects on time and within budget. Proven communication and interpersonal skills, including relationship building and collaboration within a multi-disciplinary, cross-functional team. Capable of building credibility and fostering connections with senior executives and team members. Skilled in fostering organizational growth and cultivating a team-oriented atmosphere.
